This
is useful when doing interval work, fartleks, or running a distance
marked race. Collects and recalls mile/km times. By pressing the lap
button the display the freezes for a few seconds and displays lap time,
average HR and lap number. It then moves on to split time (total
elapsed time since start) and then reverts back to user selected
options.
Flexible Display
: The Polar RS100 has a flexible
display so that you can view the data that is most important to you i.e. Calories, Total Time, Lap Time and Heart Rate.
File Recall
:
This feature creates a "training file" for each session over 1
minute. Training files include:

Duration of exercise,
Average heart rate (%HR or bpm)

burnt during session

Laps / Splits
:If the lap function has been
pressed the Polar RS 100 will also recall number of laps, best lap time,
lap time with average heart rate and heart rate at end of lap. Number of
laps, average lap time, best lap time, average and max HR per lap, end
heart rate of each lap, lap number and split time.
Long term files
: The Polar RS100 also has a cumulative memory file giving total values
since last reset of date cumulation started, calories burnt
and total exercise count. You can reset these whenever you
wish.
